Tasks

-Maintain accurate records of calls, schedules, and job statuses in the dispatch system -Interview possible candidates if needed in the future for dispatch openings -Coordinate dispatch schedules -Monitor technicians’ schedules and adjust as needed for emergencies or delays -Assign jobs to appropriate field personnel based on skills, location, and availability -Enforce all company policies and counsel employee if needed -Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email -Coordinate and schedule service calls for plumbing, heating, and air technicians -Monitor and track performance of existing dispatchers, -Communicate effectively with customers regarding appointment times and updates -Train new dispatchers in all Phases of the position ( software, policies, approving timecards ) -Work closely with the Service Manager to optimize daily routes and productivity

What You Bring

-HVAC and/or Plumbing industry experience is highly preferred -Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities -1-2 years as a Lead Dispatcher or 3-5 years dispatching experience in the home service industry. -Strong organizational and multitasking skills -Ability to remain calm under pressure and in fast-paced environments -High school diploma or equivalent -MS Office / EXCEL experience -Proficient with scheduling software and basic computer application
