Overview

Manage on‑site construction, safety, budget & stakeholder coordination for large power project.

Tasks

-Ensure environmental protection standards are met throughout project execution. -Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and issues. -Monitor productivity, quality of workmanship, and material usage to control costs and minimize waste. -Provide weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation strategies. -Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. -Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. -Conduct inspections to ensure work meets contractual and regulatory standards. -Act as the primary point of contact on-site for project managers, contractors, engineers, and client representatives. -Oversee daily operations including workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment usage. -Attend regular progress meetings and provide detailed site reports. -Proactively identify and resolve site issues that may impact timelines or quality. -Promote a safety-first culture and lead daily toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident investigations. -Direct, manage, and supervise all site staff and site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules, specifications, safety standards and quality standards.

What You Bring

-Experience with executing projects with Union Labor Agreements – National Construction Agreement, National Maintenance Agreement, Local Agreements, etc. -Minimum of 7 years of construction management experience in power generation projects. -Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project management practices. -Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. -Proven track record of managing large teams and subcontractors. -Experience with management of direct hire craft on union projects.
