Support in the preparation of construction drawings, and technical reports.
Liaise with municipalities and other approving authorities to advocate for client objectives.
Build and foster relationships with clients, consultants, municipal, and provincial approving authorities.
Complete tasks including the preparation of utility alignments and profiles, cut and fill calculations, waste water and storm sewer flows, and noise attenuation studies.
Participate in quality assurance and quality control reviews for various deliverables.
Be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the design for greenfield and brownfield land development projects of high complexity.
Prepare drawings and figures as required using AutoCAD Civil 3D software to support the project team.
With guidance, prepare designs for site grading and site servicing including water distribution, sanitary sewers, storm water management, shallow utilities, and erosion control design.

Able to collaborate in a project team setting and engage in creative and critical thought.
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience recommended.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Must have a basic understanding of civil engineering principles including site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, shallow utility coordination, roadway, lot design, as well as a general understanding of stormwater engineering concepts.
Registered as an Engineer (P.Eng. or P.L.(Eng.)) in the Province of Alberta and in good standing.
Ability to work as a team player and engage in constructive and creative collaboration.
High emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn additional skills in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software, which includes AutoCAD Civil 3D, PCSWMM and BlueBeam Revu.
