What You Bring

-Excellent (written / verbal) command of English -Technically competent to review the Design of most major mechanical systems such as carbody & bogie design, vehicle dynamics, pneumatics & brake system, air-conditioning, door system, coupler etc. -Knowledge of statutory approval process for Indian Metros including RDSO trials -BTech Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree (MTech or MSc preferred) -Capable of engaging effectively with Contractor and Client during design workshops -Able to perform train system design reviews (with minimal guidance) -Able to verify the Contractor’s design calculations and test reports -At least 8 years of total professional experience -At least 5 years relevant rail/metro experience -General Consultant (or client organisation) experience preferred -Previous design (or design review) experience mandatory. -Demonstrable ability to identify, understand and apply relevant Engineering Standards -Able to work under own initiative to produce high quality reports and presentations
