Tasks

-Interpret job specifications and contract drawings and estimate materials needed -Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of business -Estimate Commercial jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners, property managers, consultants or Architects -Working overtime as needed to make sure bids get done in a timely fashion -Review all projects with the General Manager

What You Bring

-Valid driver's license -The candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel -The ideal candidate will have experience in all Low Slope and Steep Slope Roofing Systems -Working in Edge Estimator -Construction/roofing industry experience preferred -The candidate should be able to read drawings and spec books in order to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposals -Candidate needs to be able to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional level -High School diploma or equivalent -Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs -Pass a background check -Experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales) preferred
