Tasks

-Meet with clients -Participate in business development -Lead and mentor a group of traffic engineers -Manage and perform various ITS related tasks as noted above -Prepare scopes of work, schedules, and fee proposals -Collaborate with roadway, structures, hydraulics, and environmental groups within our Transportation business unit.

What You Bring

-Only recipients of an offer of employment from Dewberry, will be required to submit to a background screening which may include, but is not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, driving record check, criminal background check, and an investigative consumer report. These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry’s background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law. -Working knowledge of VDOT and/or MDOT standards preferred -Excellent communication and organizational skills -Electrical design experience preferred -Minimum 10 years of experience in ITS design and traffic engineering -BS in Civil Engineering -PE license required -MicroStation experience required -At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization. -VDOT, MDOT and/or design-build experience preferred -Project Management and leadership skills preferred -Ability to effectively develop new business
