Design, program, and support PLC/HMI control systems for industrial projects.

Tasks

-Develop electrical diagrams with varying levels of efficiency and locate and correct mistakes found in electrical diagrams. -Assist in the production of detailed schematics. -Support in designing and developing layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power and control distribution. -Support the Systems Checklist for projects during field installation and startup. -Assist and support the process for designing and delivering successful control systems.

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience in the field or in controls engineering. -Proficiency in PLC programming and controls engineering. -Plan/hardware design skills. -Understand AC/DC control systems and read component cut sheets. -Ability to commission systems effectively. -Hands-on mechanical and electrical capabilities. -Networking knowledge. -Experience in material handling. -Experience with AutoCAD for design purposes. -Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with PLC and HMI systems. -Basic knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes such as UL508a, NEC, and NFPA. -Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field. -Understanding of VFDs, servos, sensors, and vision systems.
