The Role
Overview
Supervise and coordinate field representation, inspections, and admin for CEI projects.

Tasks
-Promote positive relations with contractors, vendors, and consultants. -Review plans for constructability and biddability and prepare issue/resolution dialog to be utilized when preparing proposals and winning future projects. -Analyze project related issues and recommend appropriate solutions. -Direct and assign specific tasks to contract support specialists and inspection staff. -Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications, and standards. -Interact with the public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues. -Notify contractor of non-compliance and corrective action. -Track project progress and advises parties of possible overturns, and critical project issues. -Participate in the planning and development of company marketing, communication materials, and proposals. -Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings. -Provide support to the assigned Senior Project Engineers to manage the assigned projects in accordance with the contract documents. -Coordinate administrative aspects of projects including contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project related reporting and cash management.

What You Bring
-Stellar communication skills. -Requires 2 years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects -For personnel WITH Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees: -Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and 8 years of CEI or Roadway or Bridge construction experience -Outstanding relationships with owners, stakeholders and developers across multiple regions and disciplines. -Time management skills. -For personnel WITHOUT Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management degrees: -FDOT District 2 experience -Meticulous attention to detail.
