Tasks
In this role, you’ll provide expert rent finance support, build strong relationships across the business, and deliver accurate, timely financial information. You’ll manage the Finance Rent team to ensure integrity and efficiency in all rent accounting activities, support the Financial Accounting Lead in maintaining an effective accountancy function, and keep the Group’s Rent Policy and procedures up to date. -Deliver the annual rent budget and the annual rent review uplift process ensuring compliance with relevant legislation -Support the Financial Accounting Lead in the development and maintenance of an efficient and effective accountancy function for the Group -Maintain and update the Group on the Rent Policy and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant regulation and good practice are observed -Completion of all new starter documentation including signed T&C’s -Manage the Finance Rent team ensuring accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information within the rent accounting function

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rent Manager to lead the delivery of the Group’s annual rent budget and rent review process, ensuring full compliance with legislation. -High levels of IT literacy and an understanding of new ways of working -Qualification certificate check -Right to work verification -2x Completed references -Experience in managing a rent team within a social housing environment -Have a track record in delivering operational service for rents -OH Health Questionnaire – Fit For Work -DBS check (if required for role) -Professional accountancy qualification, e.g. CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA -Knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to rents
