The Role

Overview

Warehouse associate handling receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and customer service.

Tasks

-Assists with loading and unloading trucks. -Stock shelves and ensuring materials are in their designated area. -Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies. -Involves maintaining a clean, organized area -Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders. Identify correct quantity and customer specifications. -Posts purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system. -Utilize RF guns for picking and packing. -Check email and trackers daily for time sensitive company information. -Works closely with all internal departments to help us achieve our mission, “To deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards for courtesy, knowledge and ethics.” -Receives incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received. Inspects materials for obvious defects, solving related problems and notifies supervisor as necessary. -Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or witnessed. -Completing two full Cycle Counts per year to maintain an accurate inventory of items and locations. -Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occurs or are witnessed. -Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch. -Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.

What You Bring

-Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 6am-3pm -Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb. -Minimum High School Diploma -Will be required to operate powered industrial trucks. -Ability to learn our ERP system -Organized with strong time management skills. -Strong attention to detail needed -Adapt to changing conditions and solve issues immediately
