Tasks

-testimony, presenting to regulatory bodies, testifying, and responding to information requests. -Improve the overall experience for customers with EVs and EV charging, including the development of public materials regarding EVs on National Grid’s websites. -Participate in industry forums to advance National Grid’s priorities, particularly on access to residential/at-home EV charging, managed charging, and EV load management. -Develop business plans and financial models to maximize product and offering impacts, including customer benefits and savings, electric grid benefits, and greenhouse gas reductions, while integrating with the existing business model. -Participate in regulatory proceedings in Massachusetts and New York, including developing -Maintain awareness of the electric vehicle and EV charging markets, utility and energy markets, customer insights, and other relevant information to advise the Clean Transportation team. -Recommend actions to maintain a healthy pipeline of current and future clean transportation products and offerings. -Bring new clean transportation products or offerings to market in support of National Grid’s electric vehicle (EV) priorities by analyzing customer insights, markets and technologies, regulatory environments, and product development needs. -Work cross-functionally with program implementation, marketing, engineering, IT, regulatory, and other functional groups to launch and scale products. Delivers on time, on target, and on budget.

What You Bring

-Well-organized and able to balance competing priorities. Ability to move forward amidst uncertainty and complexity. -Experience with vehicle-grid integration and load management is preferred, though not required. -Experience analyzing large datasets preferred, though not required. -Ability to synthesize diverse inputs, think creatively, and find practical solutions to complex issues. -Experience in clean energy and/or clean transportation is preferred, though not required. -Experience extracting insights from diverse datasets, research, reports, and colleagues. -Experience in utility operations and regulation is preferred, though not required. -Experience leading collaborative, cross-functional groups to deliver results. -Experience with developing and interpreting KPIs, financial forecasts, and business models. -B.A. or B.S. required (Masters degree preferred) and 5+ years related work experience.
