Lead design review and project management for coastal geotechnical structures.

Tasks

- managing main contracts - Lead regular meetings / workshop - managing sub contracts (i.e: soil investigation contract, Accredited Checker contract, biodiversity contract etc) - Ensure submissions and proper record filing - review on plan for Site investigation and result interpretation, - review on C&S, environmental and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment and land reclamation (i.e: deep and shallow foundation, temporary and permanent retaining system, soil improvement, instrumentation, etc) - prepare tender documents, technical specification. - Supervise both design and/or site work -Prepare technical reports and submission to Authorities (i.e: GIR, concept design, detailed design, risk assessment, ground improvement, etc) -Carry out design review of C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment and land reclamation etc. for local and/or oversea projects -Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice and maintaining high quality standards of design, supervision as well as guiding junior engineers. -Assist in other Coastal department activities i.e: beach clean up, sports day, etc -Assist the Project Lead / Project Manager to carry out: -Support on pursue project : assist in tender submission -Liaise and manage with stakeholders, such as clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties

What You Bring

Well versed in design software, e.g. Plaxis, GeoStudio, StaadPro, Prokon, Etabs etc are preferred Minimum a Bachelor/Master's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering recognized by PEB. Preferably registered Professional Engineer (Geo) with PEB. Familiar with Eurocodes. Team player and able to multi-task Discipline, self-motivated and resourceful Minimum 8 year of relevant design/project management experience in a consultancy firm involving geotechnical, infrastructure and/or marine/coastal projects Familiar with land reclamation, port & jetty and ground improvement design and programming Familiar with Authorities submission requirements and process. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Experience in contract administration
