Tasks

Lead the estimating function for heavy civils & groundworks projects, with a strong focus on self-delivery experience in Data Centres or similar complex projects. Provide accurate cost planning and tender submissions, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations. -Scope Analysis – Review project specifications, drawings, and contractual documents to identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers. -Cost Control & Benchmarking – Maintain cost databases and provide benchmarking insights for future projects. -Reporting – Provide accurate and timely reports to the Preconstruction Director on estimating progress and outcomes. -Governance & Compliance – Ensure adherence to company policies, governance frameworks, and industry standards. -Team Development – Mentor junior estimators and contribute to building a high-performing preconstruction team. -Estimating Leadership – Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civils & groundworks projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. -Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with clients, supply chain partners, and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment. -Tender Preparation – Lead the compilation of tender submissions, including pricing, methodology, and supporting documentation. -Risk & Opportunity Management – Assess potential risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies.
