Overnight security guard ensuring safety & hospitality at senior living community

Key Responsibilities

• patrol rounds

Tasks

-Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property. -Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor. -Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls. -Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property. Patrols inside and outside of the buildings and grounds of community. -Escorts all employees to and from their vehicles after dark. -Checks and secures all exterior doors and windows as outlined in established checklist. -Maintains security rounds, including but not limited to safety inspections, accident/incident, work orders, property damage, unusual occurrences and service requests. Must complete a written report for each shift. -Keeps all main building, ambulance entrances and sidewalks clear of ice and snow. -Sets door tabs.

Requirements

What You Bring

-One year’s experience in security preferred. -Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. -Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple mechanical repairs.
