Manage and negotiate a $5B power/energy contract portfolio for SCE.

Tasks
-Supports development of go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to new geographic regions. -A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. -Collects data capturing power price trends for various US energy markets. -Contributes to go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to new geographic regions. -Supports the development of tools for collecting and analyzing market data using statistical software. -Converts data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports. -Supports relationships with existing and new customers in the chosen customer market segments. -Contributes to responses to RFPs and marketing presentations to customers. -Participates in the development of bid packages in response to off take opportunity requests, including RFPs and RFIs for utility projects. -Supports analyses of potential power sale agreements across a range of sectors, enabling power marketing teams to qualify opportunities. -Supports the analysis of data about consumers, competitors, and market conditions to inform SCE's off-take strategy.

What You Bring
-Three or more years of experience with energy industry in power marketing or power origination or substantial project management in a similar industry or role. -Experience in energy and energy commodity procurement in the California ISO or a similar market. -This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties. -Experience in process development and optimization, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. -Experience in resource and project planning, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation. -Exceptional communication skills. -Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. -Project management experience.

-This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
