Tasks

-Create intercompany & customer PO’s, including purchasing warehouse and office supplies. -Work on assigned misc. projects related to warehouse processes. -Utilize and work in various vendor portals. (Lowe’s Link, 4PL, Amazon, Grainger etc.) -Schedule inbound and outbound shipments. -Train new and current employees within the department. -Monitor shipping reports within SAP/BlueYonder to ensure all shipments are posted daily. -Create domestic and export shipping documentation as required. -Monitor expedite e-mail box and work with leadership to ensure shipments are made on a timely basis. -Create and update reports using Excel, Word, and Power Point, as required by DC Manager(s). -Manage damage out and scrap materials as needed. -Provide subject matter and trouble shooting assistance related to the shipping & receiving duties. -Attend/direct incoming truck drivers and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining positive customer service attitude. -Create inbound numbers for internal & 3rd party vendors. -Generate month-end reports, including the first and last ten shipping documents. -Address receiving discrepancies, including overages and shortages.

What You Bring

-Demonstrate flexibility to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands and schedule. -Must be able to work required schedule for the job but show flexibility to cover team members on PTO/LOA. -Able to work at minimum an 8-hour shift continuously on a computer -Bilingual in Spanish is desirable. -Can lift and maneuver up to 35 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor. -Capable of handling multiple tasks at once. -Able to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, within all levels of the organization. -Basic MS Office knowledge required. (particularly Excel) -Working knowledge of SAP and/or Blue Yonder is desired. -Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. -A minimum of 2-4 years of distribution experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving processes, procedures and systems is required. -Strong attention to detail and results oriented. -Able to be a team player, maintain a positive attitude and lead by example. -Experience with AgilePoint is a plus. -Associates Degree or equivalent experience is required.
