Empower team members to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, and human resource targets.
Partner with sales, operations, and other senior leaders to create and implement a customer success strategy.
Coach and mentor direct reports in Problem Solving and other LPS/CI activities.
Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating, and institutionalizing a culture of simplification, accountability, standard work, process improvement and lean principles.
Ensure flawless designs are delivered with quality and on time to customers and the internal manufacturing operations team.
Accountable for operational expenses with the expectation of delivering on-budget targets.

Proven team-building and change management skills to coach, mentor, develop and empower team members.
10+ years of technical sales, commercial or manufacturing operations industry experience, including at least 5 years of leadership experience.
Sound leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of engineers.
Knowledge of industry-relevant regulations and standards for Medium Voltage Switchgear or equivalent experience on Controls and Relay Control Panels or Low Voltage Switchgear.
Well-rounded communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation); able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from senior leaders to support staff, and present compellingly to achieve buy-in from leaders and team members.
Experience with commercial and industrial engineering and utility projects, and an understanding of the Electrical Distribution Design and Application.
Excellent project management skills.
Direct experience formulating and communicating the commercial strategy to best address customer needs.
Demonstrated track record of lean manufacturing, sustained improvements, and KPI attainment.
Sound business sense and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, solve complex problems, and drive learning.
Proven track record of understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
Capable of embracing diversity and equity to ensure they contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace.
Technical aptitude and knowledge of assembly processes, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and paint finishing.
Experience leading multiple complex product teams within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering or related field. MBA is an Asset.
