The Role
Overview
Design, develop, and scale secure IAM solutions across the platform.

Tasks
-Continuously monitor the IAM ecosystem for risks and improvement opportunities. -Develop and maintain tools and automation for user provisioning, SSO, RBAC, and policy enforcement. -Participate in incident response and root cause analysis related to access management and security events. -Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the IAM domain. -Lead the design and implementation of IAM solutions including authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and federation. -Evaluate and integrate third-party IAM platforms and technologies when applicable. -Drive the architectural direction for IAM systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. -Partner with security, compliance, and engineering stakeholders to define IAM standards and best practices.
What You Bring
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent experience. -Solar Industry experience (Renewable) -Deep understanding of modern identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM. -Experience implementing IAM in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). -Hands-on experience with IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Entra, Ping Identity, ForgeRock). -Security certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, or GIAC (GCIH, GISP). -Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. -8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years focused on IAM systems. -Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) and CI/CD practices. -Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker). -Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and least privilege principles. -Travel may be required up to 10%, depending on business needs. -Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
