Tasks

This is your chance to establish and lead a new Aviation Planning team within a global engineering consultancy that already has more than 230 aviation specialists worldwide. The aim: to bring together master planning, strategy, capacity modelling, and sustainability under one cohesive global offer. You’ll work closely with established aviation design and engineering teams, developing strategies that guide the next generation of airports across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. The role blends technical planning with commercial and strategic influence, giving you direct visibility at regional and group board level. -Partner with major airports, operators, and investors to deliver long-term aviation strategies and infrastructure development plans. -Mentor and grow a high-performing team, creating future leaders in the discipline. -Work with regional business leaders to win, plan, and deliver key aviation projects from concept to masterplan. -Shape strategic planning approaches across capacity, airfield design, terminal planning, and environmental resilience. -Build and lead a new Aviation Planning function, integrated with a global network of ~200+ aviation professionals.

What You Bring

-Strong experience in airport or aviation planning, ideally with a mix of consultancy and client-side exposure. -Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to operate with technical and commercial credibility. -Proven ability to develop planning strategies for major international airports. -Track record of leading teams or building new business lines. -Degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Aviation Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or Urban/Regional Planning.
