Tasks

-Lead the Company to adopt Lean principles in all projects and in all Company actions. -Empower employees to become Lean in their day-to-day activities. -Train and develop project teams in the adoption and execution of the Last Planner System®. -Conduct regular Lean assessments. -Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to implement project specific Lean strategies. -Manage all Lean programs. -Assist with the planning and execution of projects across the Company. -Create Project Spotlights, Lean Discussions, and training materials. -Create strategic plans to eliminate waste within the Company by utilizing Lean processes, metrics, cost savings, best demonstrated practices and the Last planner System®. Works across multiple departments and divisions to support utilization of and training in these techniques and programs. -Drive positive change, growth, and ROI through Lean. -Develop and implement Lean construction principles to improve workflows, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency. -Compile defined metrics and submit quarterly reports to the Executive Team. -Create and provide Lean programs and training. -Bring technological solutions to our field staff to improve ability to measure and manage work. -Serve as a company Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various Lean/Process Improvement activities.

What You Bring

-Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Have at least ten (10) years of experience in commercial construction. -Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. -Have at least five (5) years of experience leading or managing Lean programs or activities. -Must possess strong documentation, organizational and time management skills and the ability to perform under pressure. -Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Bluebeam, and Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred but not required. -Experience with Last Planner System® methodology.
