Tasks

The Multi-Family Real Estate Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process for our portfolio of multi-family properties. This role involves processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. -Maintain and update vendor files and records. -Collaborate with property management and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial records. -Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable -Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. -Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper approval. -Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the real estate sector preferred -Proficiency in Yardi P2P preferred. -Thrives in a fast-paced environment and achieving operational excellence -Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Knowledge of multi-family real estate accounting practices is a plus.

The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required. The role is considered non-exempt so will be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and state law. At CIM, this role has the potential to receive a discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
