Tasks

-Conceptualize, design and prototype user-centered interface experiences, focusing on smart buildings/infrastructures and industrial transformative projects. Present design insights to internal teams and partners, while advocating for consistent design practices. -Drive UX innovation and transformation by integrating best practices into customer projects, sharing expertise across Siemens, and promoting user-centric approaches. -Be an integral part of the Automation UX team working in close collaboration with peers based across the globe to ensure alignment and shared success across locations. -Conduct user research, facilitate workshops, and embed a culture of UX evangelization to drive UX insights and strategies internally. -Lead and execute UX projects across Siemens' digital products and related web applications, including configuration tools, building viewers, and touch panel interfaces. Focus on delivering scalable, user-friendly experiences for smart infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user research into actionable, innovative design solutions, always open to feedback and sharing insights.

Approaches complex topics with curiosity and motivation to explore unfamiliar challenges. -Strong UI portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes, the ability to conceptualize interaction flows, create effective prototypes, and employ design system expertise. -Proactive problem solver, demonstrating the ability to introduce novel methodologies and tools, explore innovative solutions, and step outside of their comfort zone. -Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Interaction/UX Design, with at least 4 years of proven UX/UI design experience. Leadership experience and/or B2B/industrial background is a plus. -Expected to actively participate in onboarding rituals, knowledge-sharing sessions, and UX maturity initiatives across the Automation segment. -Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma) and experience with design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and usability across products.
