Tasks
-Support proposal development, including scope definition, technical input, and cost estimation. -Facilitate and lead meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. -Lead and support the design of watermain and sanitary sewer systems, including alignment, profile, and connection details. -Conduct site visits, inspections, and reviews of shop drawings to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. -Prepare detailed design reports, drawings, and specifications in accordance with municipal and regulatory standards. -Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations. -Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis to support system design and optimization.Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets. -Provide technical guidance to junior staff and contribute to quality assurance processes.

What You Bring
-Familiarity with provincial and federal water management regulations. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, floodplain management, and stormwater systems. -Proficiency in industry-standard modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS 2D, HEC-HMS, SWMM, MIKE, Info Works ICM). -Experience working with municipalities, conservation authorities, or government agencies. -Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively. -Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in water resources modeling. -Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and data integration. -Experience with climate change impact assessments and resiliency planning. -Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Python, MATLAB) for model enhancement. -Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field. -Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility is preferred.
