Administer construction process, review submittals, RFIs, drawings, coordinate, and oversee progress.

Tasks

-Administrating the construction process; reviewing Submittals and Shop Drawings, responding to RFI’s, preparing drawing revisions, and coordinating with Engineering Consultants. -Processing Applications for Payment -QC Reviews with coordinated sets of working drawings -Reviewing construction documents, project construction budgets and evaluate construction progress -Analyzing shop drawings of varying complexity, as well as reporting problems and deviations from plans and specifications to the project design team. -Maintains Submittal and RFI Logs. -Mentors younger staff and leads group site visits. -Creating Field Reports -Observing construction work in progress to ensure performance with specifications and contract documents

What You Bring

-Experience in all project phases -Experience in multifamily, mixed-use or student housing construction strongly preferred -Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills -Responsive: Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability -Takes a team-oriented approach to the Construction Process. -Five or more years of experience in CA role for Architectural firm -Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
