Sample Logistics Technician

Overview

Receive, organize, and log client samples while ensuring accurate data entry and compliance.

Tasks

-Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and / or received date -Ensure accuracy of results and data entry -Unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements -Changing priorities and balancing workload to meet tight deadlines -Receive and organize all client samples -Ensure all required samples are redirected as required -Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies. -Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements.

What You Bring

-Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs) and may involve long periods of standing -Ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments -High level of work production in fast-paced lab environment -Excellent attention to detail -Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). -Recognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the Supervisor -High School Diploma -Energetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are required -Ability to lift up to 40 lbs -Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
