The Role
Overview
Assist IT security team with hardware/software support, monitoring, documentation, and research.

Tasks
-Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents -Support in managing and updating security policies, procedures, and best practices -Document and maintain records of security incidents, configurations, and network diagrams -Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support -Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities -Participate in security awareness training and initiatives -Assist with regular system backups and disaster recovery planning -Research emerging threats and contribute to implementing countermeasures -Support the IT Security team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications -Help maintain and update security documentation and procedures

What You Bring
-Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment -Critical thinking and problem-solving skills -Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS -Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word -This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. -Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught -Ability to multitask -Displays excellent customer service skills
