Tasks
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. -Managing a team of Commercial Managers across 3 main contracts – planned, retrofit and repairs -Set financial targets and develop plans to achieve them. -Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives. -Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, operations) to align goals and deliver results. -Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to achieve departmental goals. -Negotiate and manage contracts to maximize profitability and minimize risk. -Monitor and assess the performance of ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. -Identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts and partnerships. -Oversee pricing strategies, cost control, and profit margins. -Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. -Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. -Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. -Prepare and present financial and commercial reports to senior management. -Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. -Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. -Ensure efficient execution of commercial processes and projects.

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of commercial operations, drive revenue generation, and ensure the successful execution of business strategies. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Commercial Manager to lead our business growth and profitability efforts. This role reports directly into the Commercial Director and will head up circa £60m PA with a geographical focus on South London / below. -Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans. -Attention to detail and organisational skills -Business acumen and strategic planning -Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment -Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Knowledge of industry regulations -Problem-solving and decision-making -Proven track record in a commercial or business management role, with experience in social housing. -Strong financial and analytical skills with a deep understanding of P&L management.
