The Role

Overview

Operate and maintain utility plant on shift, ensuring safe, efficient performance and reporting.

Tasks

-Support HSE targets to ensure compliance with the site Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and practices. -Execution of non-intrusive maintenance activities and first line maintenance -Supply details of spares & materials requirements for utility equipment -Take ownership of planned works relating to their specific expertise and in other areas where acquired and agreed. -All Shift Technicians are expected to share pertinent information in a timely manner and assist in communicating all problems, and potential problems to the Shift Lead. -Responsible to ensure the completion of routine PPM schedules as assigned by the Shift Lead or Site Leader -Submission of Continuous Improvements through the Good Idea Process. -Execution of Callout Rota with detailed reports on callouts -Continuous monitoring of utilities, correcting all deviations (Plant, BMS, Housekeeping) or raising corrective actions and planned work orders. -Review Risk Assessments as required in light of changes in operation, environment and legislation. -Be aware and review plant maintenance procedures -Stay current in the operating conditions of the Plant: -Execution of rounds & readings -Support the morning operations meeting with relevant communications -Maintain a safety centered work culture within your team. Report potentially unsafe operations or situations. -Ensure excellent housekeeping and adherence to the client and Veolia safety procedures and policies.
