The Role

Overview

Manage product range, launch, marketing, and sales support for road & compact equipment.

Tasks

-Work in line with SMT GB's health, safety, quality, and environmental policies—while supporting additional tasks as requested -Act as the go-to authority for your product range—delivering internal and external presentations and technical guidance -Serve as the main point of contact for the OEM, managing day-to-day collaboration and developing regional specifications with Sales -Develop and deliver strategic product marketing plans—including pricing, positioning, and promotion—across all relevant industry sectors -Manage the full New Product Launch (NPL) process, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with pre-launch checks, and end-to-end readiness -Provide competitor analysis, develop sales tools and training, and support teams with the insights they need to win in the market -Create targeted product campaigns (with OEMs where needed) to grow market share and support margin objectives -Lead new product introductions and continuous improvement projects, covering all standard technologies in the product family

What You Bring

-Strong customer service experience, engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders -Works in an effective and systematic manner with proven analytical skills -Good systems and technical knowledge. -Proven experience in commercial analysis and delivering business improvement recommendations -Skilled in developing and implementing strategic plans -Good negotiation skills and proven ability to communicate at all levels -Excellent customer and market understanding with a collabortory approach -Degree level qualification ideally in; Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, or equivalent experience -Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in spreadsheets and numerical analysis tools -A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
