The Role

Overview

Coordinate vendor purchasing, issue POs, monitor performance, and support finance.

Tasks

-Manage open order reports and other documents to ensure receipt of goods per requirements. -Issue Purchase Orders as required, document vendor acknowledgements including cost and delivery dates. -Coordinate and support Request for Quotations based on business needs and evaluate vendors based on changes in demand, market conditions and internal business needs. -Maintain and monitor vendor cost, quality, and delivery. -Assist with Accounts Payables invoice problem resolution. -Communicate with Engineering and Project Management to verify specifications to ensure vendor receives accurate information to fill order requests. -Review and process claims with vendors for unsatisfactory goods or services working with Quality Staff to resolve future issues.
