Tasks

-Support well start-up, ramp-down, and late-life operations to maximize asset value -Develop and implement reservoir management and operating strategies, including steam and NCGI allocation to optimize production and pressure performance -Lead the evaluation and development of in-situ thermal heavy oil assets -Ensure best practices in subsurface data management and reservoir model integration -Collaborate across Operations, Geoscience, and Development teams to enhance performance and drive efficiency -Contribute to regulatory applications and technical reporting as required -Utilize analytical and simulation tools to generate short- and long-term production forecasts for wells, pads, and assets -Identify and execute well optimization strategies such as steam splitters, tubing cuts, FCDs, and artificial lift improvements

What You Bring

-Strong background in SAGD surveillance, field development planning, and forecasting -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Innovative, self-motivated, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment -Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for registration with APEGA -Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal/SAGD reservoir engineering -Skilled in data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau considered an asset) -Proficiency in reservoir simulation (CMG Suite) -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite -Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada -Experience with VBA, Python, or R is considered a strong asset
