Tasks
-Directs pre-job planning, turnover, lessons learned, etc. -Provides mentorship to subcontractors to meet project goals and requirements -Ensures that the activities of subcontractors and suppliers are monitored, completed appropriately, and are understood by job site Superintendents and Foreman -Runs ‘Pre-Job’, ‘Mid-Job’, and ‘Post-Job’ meetings -Weighs-in on performance reviews for assigned personnel when necessary -Manages project payment applications -Ensures that subcontracts and purchase orders are completed correctly with all pertinent information and submitted in a timely fashion -Leads project reviews and problem resolution with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers -Develops and maintains positive relationships both publicly and professionally in and outside of the workplace -Manages project claims and change orders -Communicates with owners and their representatives regarding budgets, schedules, and change management in a professional manner, ensuring a long term relationship -Develops and communicates project schedule -Develops pricing for RFPs, change orders, change authorizations, bulletins, etc. -Identifies and manages project scope changes -Takes the lead to address and solve issues that impact safety, job costs, production, quality, and profitability -Tracks quantities to update project revenues -Maintains project quality and conformance to drawings and specifications -Maintains a vision of value engineering and actively pursues implementation within the project -Coordinates project close-out and ensures completion of proper documentation -Informs customers of the Beaver Companies’ abilities and areas of expertise -Proactively looks ahead to identify and avoid potential challenges -Coordinates job set-up, cost codes, and reporting project costs -Responds timely to customer's needs without compromising safety, quality, or reputation -Maintains full awareness of all current project conditions and issues, including union, environment, geotechnical, government regulations and permits, materials supply, subcontractors, and schedules -Actively participates in ensuring job site safety according to Beaver safety policies -Manages multiple projects at one time -Communicates production goals clearly to field supervision

What You Bring
-Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred -Competent use of MS Office and construction software skills -Strong organizational and prioritization skills -Accurately and efficiently bids projects -Ability and willingness to travel overnight as required by project needs -5 years’ experience in the construction industry required -Ability to demonstrate an understanding of industry practices and the impacts of project activities -Excellent written and verbal communication -Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent required; equivalent field experience will be considered -Strong leadership skills and complex problem-solving skills as it relates to customers, equipment, personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, governmental agencies, etc. -Demonstrates a thorough understanding of how each project was bid and communicates efficiently with project Superintendents -Previous field experience preferred
