Tasks

-Oversees and manages the processing of requests for transmission service and schedules of all interchange transactions by the power coordinators -Evaluates process generation, transmission and substation equipment clearance requests consistent with system reliability -Acts as leads operator at the company's System Control Center operating the BES to serve customers safely, reliably and efficiently -Complies with all FERC, NERC and regional/state reliability standards and requirements associated with the operation of the BES -Forecasts near-term demand of the company's customers to ensure sufficient generation is committed and dispatched -Operates as the Reliability Coordinator for the reliability coordinating council region BES to ensure reliable operations
