Data Center HVAC Technician

Overview

Maintain and repair data center HVAC systems to ensure optimal temperature and humidity.

Tasks

-Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets. -Replace filters, and other mechanical components as needed. -Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedule to ensure reliable system performance. -Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents. -Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, & pumps.

What You Bring

-EPA Section 608 Certification - Universal -2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience -Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call duty. -Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers facilities. -Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping schematics, and wiring diagrams. -Experience with Liebert, Stulz, Airedale Or other precision cooling equipment. -EPA Section 608 Certification -Technical school preferred -Familiarity with BMS/BAS systems for monitoring and control. -Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, chilled water systems, and air distribution systems. -High school diploma or equivalent
