Tasks

-They will manage and maintain a data base, GIS systems and reporting mechanisms to support the delivery of BNG enabling the delivery of wider benefits for people and nature. -This role will support the BNG Strategic Lead, using project management approaches to research, liaise, and develop a pipeline of BNG projects, partnership working opportunities and commercial opportunities. -This role will support the strategic delivery of BNG by setting up new geospatial systems -The post holder will have a key role in communicating the BNG strategy inside and outside of the business.

What You Bring

-Proven technical expertise in developing approaches to effective project /programme level reporting (e.g. Power BI dashboards). -Proven technical expertise in developing, implementing and managing GIS-based systems. -Experience of working with stakeholders (internal and external) to co-develop spatial datasets and reporting mechanisms. -Good understanding of current and emerging environmental legislation especially relating to BNG, habitat creation, nature conservation and planning. -Proven technical expertise and a background in project management, including the development of tools/approaches to deliver projects to time/cost/quality such as Gantt charts, risk registers and budgets.
