Tasks

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support project delivery across planning, financial control, risk, and change management. This Assistant Project Manager role involves assisting with NEC4 contract administration, supply chain coordination, and monitoring project performance, costs, and programme milestones. The successful Assistant Project Manager will develop productive relationships with stakeholders and contractors, while supporting assurance, gateway reviews, and compliance activities. This is a unique opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to work within a joint SDA, DIO, and industry partner team, contributing directly to national defence infrastructure.

What You Bring

Are you an experienced Assistant Project Manager ready to make an impact on one of the UK’s most critical defence infrastructure programmes? We are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join the client team on Programme Euston at HMNB Clyde, delivering future submarine docking capabilities for the Royal Navy. -Experience with NEC4 contracts. -NEC accreditation or nuclear sector awareness. -Security Clearance Required -Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar, with professional membership (APM, ICE, RICS). -Minimum 4 years’ experience in infrastructure or built environment projects. -Familiarity with Primavera P6, CEMAR, or similar tools. -Strong commercial awareness with the ability to challenge costs and outputs. -Experience in defence, nuclear, or other regulated environments. -SC Clearance and availability to work on-site at HMNB Clyde (3 days per week).
