Environmental Internship (Level 1)

Overview

Field-based environmental sampling and reporting for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Interacting and communicating daily with contractors, technicians and project managers -Writing clear field reports of site activities each day -Using field screening equipment and documenting readings -Sampling and assessments of soil, groundwater, air, and other materials -Observing and documenting field activities

What You Bring

-Working with GIS/GPS (a big plus) -Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed -Position requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height -Actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering with an environmental focus, Geology, Environmental Science or related degree
