Tasks

An exciting opportunity for a Regional SHEQ Manager to take a leadership role on the Yorkshire Water framework. Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you’ll oversee SHEQ performance across multiple projects, driving excellence in safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role will suit a proactive leader experienced within water, utilities, or infrastructure who can inspire teams, embed a positive culture, and deliver continuous improvement across regional operations. -Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses to ensure effective corrective action and learning. -Promote proactive safety and environmental behaviours through leadership, engagement, and training initiatives. -Support delivery teams to manage environmental impact, occupational health, and regulatory obligations across all sites. -Maintain and continually improve the integrated management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). -Oversee audits, inspections, and performance reviews; ensure ongoing certification and compliance. -Deliver the regional SHEQ strategy aligned to framework, regulatory, and business objectives. -Lead, manage, and develop the regional SHEQ team, setting high performance standards and fostering a culture of accountability.

If you’re an experienced Regional SHEQ Manager ready to lead and influence change, apply today and help shape a safer, more sustainable future. -Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. -NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards. -Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 preferred. -Strong understanding of UK SHEQ legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practice. -Proven track record in a SHEQ leadership role within the water, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. -Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Yorkshire region.
