Tasks

-Management of a team of 6 Finance Assistants in a flexible/hybrid working, high certificate volume environment to maintain compliance with relevant Construction sector tax regulations. -Reporting to Purchase to Pay Manager, taking accountability for the daily work allocation, performance measurement and team management. -Organise own workload and to reprioritise at short notice in order to meet deadlines -Be the primary escalation point for the resolution of issues across the team from the business or the vendor. -Partnering with and deliver great service to customers and key stakeholders, working across organisational boundaries (Group Procurement, IT, wider finance, Commercial and sites). -Co-ordinating staff and work-related issues, particularly about planning and organising work schedules. -Ensuring that all queries and issues are resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreement.

What You Bring

-Experience managing/ leading change projects into Accounts Payable or similar teams. -Experience of the construction industry and DRC/ CIS tax environment. -Strong knowledge of principles, practices, regulations and procedures relating to Accounts Payable function. -Experience of Oracle and Causeway systems as a preference (but other financial systems experience is acceptable). -Experience managing medium sized teams, ideally within an Accounts Payable Shared Service function or other core transactional / financial processes in a complex business environment.
