Perform power system studies and design mitigation solutions for industrial and commercial facilities.

Tasks

-Develop study reports and communicate results and recommendations to customers -Effectively communicate with other departments and customers to assure activities are properly coordinated -Self-manage assigned projects and job cost accountability to perform work within budgeted cost estimates -Successfully execute small to medium sized projects with limited oversight -Develop relay protective setpoints and settings files -Perform Short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies for commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, and generation facilities using SKM, ETAP, and/or Easypower software -Perform data collection activities -Develop and/or update equipment control schematics, one lines, three lines, and wiring diagrams -Develop and/or implement arc flash mitigation designs -Interpret new construction drawing packages

What You Bring

-Strong computer skills -Applies knowledge of low and medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, circuit breakers, panel boards, and disconnects to determine cost effective mitigation solutions from the results and recommendations of power system studies -4 or more years of experience performing power system studies and associated data collection activities for industrial customers -Must have ability to work independently, accurately, and have high attention to detail -Strong communication skills and the ability effectively discuss technical recommendations with customers -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related from an ABET accredited school -Experience with SKM
