Overview
Supports real estate development from site selection to construction, handling analysis & financing.

Tasks
-Research site location costs (i.e. impact fees, building permits, insurance, tax implications, etc.). -Underwrite and model potential opportunities to determine project viability and value. -Treats people with respect and keeps commitments. -Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment committee packages for executive level review. -Assist in the preparation and submission of both initial and final Tax Credit Applications and various other financing applications. -Assist with the closing due diligence process with debt and equity partners. -Coordinate third party due diligence (i.e. environmental, geotech, survey, engineering, architectural, design, marketing, etc.). -Contribute in all phases of the deal and have an understanding of the project from sourcing through stabilization. -Market Research (i.e. trends, pricing, occupancy, costs, rental rates, utility information, etc.). -Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working relationship with all employees. -Assist in completing required reports to state housing finance agencies. -Assist in the identification of new markets and potential sites for future projects.

What You Bring
-Function independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating good planning skills. -Demonstrate good judgement in reporting and solving issues. -Ability and willingness to travel at least once a quarter and as needed for project success. -Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. -Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy. -Ability to collaborate with a team of professionals across various disciplines. -Must be an organized, entrepreneurial leader with attention to detail and strong analytical, time management and problem-solving abilities. -Experience with project management software like Procore is preferred but not required. -Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, ideally in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a similar field with at least 3 years experience. -Must be able to use Microsoft Suite experience, proficiency in Excel is preferred, but not required. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Experience in the affordable housing industry is preferred but not required. -Ability to multi-task effectively. -Professional and positive interaction with subordinates, peers, and supervisors. -Ability to recognize and manage priorities.
