Tasks

-Develop an appreciation of the company Quality Assurance procedures, and learn how to check their own work prior to submission to their supervisor -Work closely with other members of the design team, including engineers, to help deliver quality designs in line with company standards -Attend in-house software training courses and seminars -You will work on exciting projects with niche clients in a range of sectors, including Life Sciences, Industrial, Custodial and Education, Rail, Aviation, Defence and Nuclear

What You Bring

-Learn about design co-ordination, and how it relates to the civil and structural engineering -Apprenticeship candidates will typically have at least 5 GCSEs at Grades A*-C / 9-4 including Maths (Grade B / 5 or 6), English and Science or their equivalent. -Learn to produce general arrangement and detailed drawings under the supervision of a Technician/Senior Technician -Apprenticeship candidates will typically have at least 5 GCSEs at Grades A*-C / 9-4 including Maths (Grade B / 5 or 6), English and Science or their equivalent plus Two A-Level qualifications at grade 9-4, including Maths. -Learn to model civil and structural engineering projects in 3D using industry recognised software (Autodesk Revit, Civils3D, AutoCAD)
