Tasks

The successful candidate will play a key role in pricing and preparing tenders for earthworks, drainage, culverts, intersection upgrades, road construction and rehabilitation projects. You’ll be working closely with a Senior Estimator and an experienced delivery team on a diverse pipeline of works. -Conduct site visits to scope works and assess construction methodology -Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and analyse pricing -Undertake quantity take-offs and review design documentation -Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and tender submissions -Maintain and update estimating databases and systems -Contribute to value engineering and project planning discussions

We’re seeking an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil contractor delivering a range of road and infrastructure projects across Adelaide and regional South Australia. If you’re an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career, we’d like to hear from you. -Proven experience in estimating for roadworks and infrastructure projects -Must have full Australian working rights -Familiarity with estimating software packages -Engineering degree (Civil or related discipline) – desirable -Minimum 5 years’ experience estimating civil construction projects for a main contractor -Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen -Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
