Facilities Services Technician (Evening Shift)

Overview

Maintain cleanliness and functionality of warehouse facilities on evening shift.

Tasks

-Maintain cleaning logs and comply with internal safety and sanitation standards. -Order janitorial and facility supplies as needed, maintaining inventory levels. -Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing of common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices. -Clean and maintain outdoor areas including walkways, entrances, and loading docks. -Remove trash, recyclables, and waste from facility areas and dispose of them according to procedures. -Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized cleaning services or facility repairs. -Report any damage or safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager. -Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or patching surfaces. -Monitor and restock inventory of cleaning and sanitation supplies. -Work primarily in a warehouse environment, occasionally outdoors for field repairs -Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and report maintenance needs. -Support event or meeting setups and clean-up when needed.

What You Bring

-Licenses: Valid Driver’s License preferred. -Clear communication skills for coordinating with vendors and staff. -Certifications: OSHA 10 or ability to obtain. -Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers -Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures. -Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and move materials. -Light to Medium Work. Exerting up to 11 - 50 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects -Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards. -1-3 years experience in custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance roles preferred. -Ability to work independently and follow routine schedules. -Familiarity with industrial cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment is a plus. -Capable of driving a vehicle -Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. -Basic organization and time management skills.
