Tasks

To manage the delivery of a portfolio of major multi-utility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction. The role also includes responsibility for regional logistics and waste reduction. -Oversee recruitment, induction, and training of engineering teams. -Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support CES score targets. -Mentor and manage Project Managers across the region. -Authorise contractor payments and monitor construction standards. -Lead the delivery of major multi-utility projects across electricity, gas, fibre, and water. -Support the sales team in acquiring new contracts. -Manage relationships with major project customers and internal stakeholders. -Ensure networks are built to specification and commissioned in line with customer requirements. -Support HR-related matters and accreditation compliance (GIRS, WIRS, NERS, MURS, Gas Safe, OAMI). -Liaise with procurement to arrange bespoke contracts where required. -Promote a proactive safety culture and support behavioural safety initiatives (Bradley Curve).

What You Bring

-Effective communicator. -Proven management experience. -Informative and helpful. -Must hold a valid UK driving licence. -Management qualification. -Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. -Recognised engineering qualification. -Practical knowledge of construction requirements for utility networks. -Strong working knowledge of legislation, technical standards, codes of practice, and specifications related to electricity, gas, fibre, or water distribution. -Resilient, reliable, and approachable. -Problem solver with strong attention to detail. -Significant experience in utility infrastructure project delivery. -Preferably registered as an engineering technician or working towards registration.
