Tasks

To ensure all warehouse activities for normal and food cargo are conducted in full compliance with company, client, and legal QHSE standards. The QHSE Supervisor is responsible for monitoring daily warehouse operations, maintaining hygiene, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring the integrity and quality of stored and handled goods. -Maintain all QHSE documentation and records up to date -Ensure all employees and visitors comply with PPE requirements -Monitor waste management practices and ensure proper segregation and disposal of general and food waste -Maintain compliance with local environmental regulations and company sustainability policies -Conduct induction and periodic refresher training sessions for warehouse employees on QHSE topics -Ensure warehouse operations meet client standards and company QHSE policies -Investigate incidents and near-misses, report findings, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions -Track and analyze QHSE KPIs and ensure timely submission of corrective actions -Ensure spill control, temperature monitoring, and environmental protection procedures are implemented -Implement and maintain quality management systems, especially for food storage and handling -Coordinate pest control and ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP or ISO 22000 -Participate in QHSE meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives -Conduct regular inspections for product handling, storage temperature, and hygiene compliance -Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations within all warehouse zones -Conduct daily safety walks, hazard identification, and risk assessments -Support internal and external audits, including client, ISO, and authority inspections -Monitor safe use of equipment (MHE, forklifts, etc.) and ensure operators follow safety procedures -Supervise food storage areas to ensure compliance with hygiene, temperature, and cross-contamination standards -Ensure cleaning and sanitation schedules are implemented and recorded properly -Prepare weekly and monthly QHSE performance reports for management and clients -Lead investigations for any product non-conformity and develop corrective/preventive action plans (CAPA) -Coordinate emergency response drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spill, etc.) -Monitor segregation between food and non-food items to prevent contamination -Maintain and update all QHSE registers (incident, inspection, audit, and training records) -Promote safety and hygiene awareness through toolbox talks and campaigns

What You Bring

-Ability to train, influence, and promote safety culture across operational teams -Proficiency in MS Office and QHSE reporting tools -Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Food Safety, Quality, or a related discipline -Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and food safety standards (HACCP / ISO 22000) -High attention to detail and strong observation skills -Analytical thinking with ability to conduct root cause analysis -3-5 years of QHSE experience in logistics, warehouse, or food storage operations -Strong communication and leadership skills -Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is a significant advantage -Familiarity with local regulatory requirements (SFDA, Civil Defense, Ministry of Labor, etc.) -Experience with temperature-controlled operations and client audit processes
