Overview

Lead and support HVDC transmission projects, design, specs, and client coordination.

Tasks

-Work seamlessly with other project disciplines such as cable engineering, environmental/permitting, GIS, geotechnical & geophysics, civil, etc -Contribute to industry thought leadership and represent Jacobs at reputable international conferences and committee meetings such as IEEE and CIGRE. -Assist clients in HVDC/HVAC technology selection; -Liaise with converter station and HVDC cable OEMs on behalf of project owner/developers to fulfil OE tasks; -Contribute to Jacobs global and North American HVDC business development, bid preparation as well as initiatives to capture new HVDC pipeline.
