Overview

Analyze traffic impacts, design solutions, and obtain agency approvals for land development.

Tasks

-Perform traffic impact analyses, trip generation studies, and intersection capacity evaluations. -Assist with traffic signal improvements, access management strategies, and roadway design. -Engage with local agencies and jurisdictions to secure approvals for traffic studies and design recommendations. -Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and developers to optimize transportation solutions. -Develop traffic models using industry-standard software (Synchro, HCS, PTV Visum, Cube Voyager). -Prepare technical reports, exhibits, and documentation for land development projects.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Synchro, HCS, MicroStation, and GIS. -PE license required (or in progress). -Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. -4+ years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning. -PTOE certification (or in progress) is a plus.
