Senior CAD Technician – Water Structures

Overview

Produce detailed 2D/3D AutoCAD structural drawings and RC detailing for water infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Support the development of junior team members, including apprentices, by providing guidance and quality oversight. -Deliver outputs in line with project timelines and budgetary constraints. -Apply a sound understanding of structural components to ensure clarity and constructability in drawings. -Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings and models. -Collaborate effectively with engineers and fellow technicians to ensure coordinated and efficient project delivery. -Undertake reinforced concrete (RC) detailing with precision and consistency.

What You Bring

-Solid understanding of structural detailing and construction principles. -Familiarity with BIM software, such as Revit or Civil 3D would be beneficial; but training will be provided where required. -Experience in RC detailing and familiarity with relevant standards. -Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. -Experience and proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) with a strong portfolio of structural drafting work.
