Tasks

-Collaborate with the project management team on the set-up and implementation of key quality processes and application methods. -Develop and issue the Construction Quality Plan based on project-specific specifications, codes and jurisdictional requirements. Communicate Plan requirements to the project management team. -Comply with all policies and standards. -Confirm conditions adverse to quality are identified, documented, disposition and tracked through acceptance and closure. -Comply with all Safety & Health requirements and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards. -Proactively communicate project-specific quality improvement opportunities to the project management team. -Responsible for recommending enhancements and changes to the Construction Quality Management System. -Provide oversight, guidance, and support for project teams on the development and execution of quality processes. -Assist the project team with set-up and scheduling of Nondestructive Examination and heat treatment activities. -Support the Corrective Action resolution process. -Confirm the Construction Quality Plan aligns with turnover requirements identified in the project contract documents. -Perform site assessments and audits to confirm compliance with the implemented Construction Quality Management System. -Provide oversight and guidance to project site quality personnel. -Participate in the Task Safety Observations (TSO's) process and define corrective measures for problem areas. -Review and confirm compliance of subcontractor quality submittals and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's). -Support project sites in confirming quality metrics are consistently tracked and reported. -Responsible for coaching, training and mentoring field quality personnel with regards to the Construction Quality Management System including quality verifications required to comply with the specifications. -Act as a liaison between the Project Manager and the Authorized Inspector for Code work scopes.

What You Bring

-Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction, Welding Technology, Nondestructive Examination or related field. and 7 years managing and implementing quality control procedures Required -Familiarity with manufacturing including, facility services, life sciences, etc. -Familiarity with Special Processes including welding. -High School Diploma/GED and 11 years managing and implementing quality control procedures Required or -Strong computer and communications media skills. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills. -Strong computer and communication media skills -Strong analytical and problem solving skills -Certified Welding Inspector-AWS Preferred -Associate Degree in Engineering, Construction, Welding Technology, Nondestructive Examination or related field. and 9 years managing and implementing quality control procedures Required or
